Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive responses to our recent Team Ipsley families feedback questionnaire. We were so pleased to read about how many of you are proud to be members of Team Ipsley: a community in which we aspire for everyone to be ambitious, courageous and kind. Thank you for all that you do to support our wonderful school community to succeed.

I and my Senior Leadership Team wanted to take the time to write with you and share some of the feedback we received:

• 9 out of 10 of you told us that Ipsley has high expectations of your child, and that they are doing well in their learning.
• 9 out of 10 of you told us that Ipsley communicates with you well.
• 9 out of 10 of you told us that Ipsley supports your child with their mental health and wellbeing.
• 9 out of 10 of you told us that your child has opportunities to take part in clubs, activities and wider personal development experiences.
• 9 out of 10 of you told us that we provide good support for children with special educational needs to succeed.
• Over 9 out of 10 told us that you feel your child is happy and safe at Ipsley.
• Over 9 out of 10 of you told us that Ipsley supports your child to become ambitious, courageous and kind.

Finally, we were thrilled to see that over 9 out of 10 of you would recommend us to another family. We believe that Team Ipsley is a very special community to belong to, and we are so pleased to hear that so many of you feel the same.

You said, We did...

As a Senior Leadership Team, we want to ensure we are always listening to our community around what we could do better and how we can continue to offer our families as much support as possible. 

You told us… that you would like more clarity around the different methods of communication that we use to contact parents.

• So, we have… written a new letter for all new families which details how and why we use different communication apps/methods and how to access these.

You told us… that you would like to better understand what your child will be learning throughout the year.

• So, we have… updated our school website with the learning journeys for all subjects in all year groups, so that you can learn more about the curriculum we offer.

You told us… that you would like an even greater range of clubs and extra-curricular opportunities for your children to attend!

• So, we have… launched a new programme of planned clubs and extra-curricular experiences to run throughout the school year, with everything from Dungeons & Dragons and Coding Club to more football fixtures and even the opportunity to learn Japanese! Clubs will be available on ePraise when they are running – please remember not all clubs run at all times of year.

Thank you to everybody who took the time to share their thoughts and feelings with us through our survey. Throughout the year, we are always keen to hear your feedback on things we are doing well and things we could do better, so that we can continue to work closely together in helping everyone to achieve their potential.

I am so proud of the school community we call Team Ipsley, and I am so thankful for the wonderful support you all offer to enable us to succeed together.
